The 2nd edition of Sierra Leone’s National Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair, spearheaded by Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, has emerged as a beacon of hope for hundreds of the youth in the country. With inspiring keynote speakers, including Youth Minister Mohamed Orman Bangura, the fair has ignited a fire within the hearts of young individuals, motivating them to seize opportunities with determination and a thirst for success.

He stressed the importance of equipping the youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in a competitive world. By aligning education with the needs of the job market, the fair aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
The Deputy Minister of Employment, Labour, and Social Security, Mohamed Lansana Dumbuya shed light on the difficulties faced by the youth in securing employment. However, he also highlighted the opportunities that the fair has created, providing a platform for young individuals to connect with potential employers and explore various career paths. The fair serves as a catalyst for change, offering hope and possibilities for a brighter future.
The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Fatmata Wurie, also emphasised the importance of a conducive business environment and the potential for growth in the entrepreneurial sector. By showcasing various employer and employment opportunities, the fair encourages the youth to tap into their creativity and innovation, fostering economic growth and development.
